Introduction

If you’re a big fan of the Hubsan X4 Quadcopter, then you’re definitely going to enjoy the Syma X11C. For one of the most popular drones on the market today, the Syma X11C is impressive. One reason I prefer the Syma X11C over the Hubsan X4 drone is because of its durability and ability to handle itself in windy weather. The Syma X11C quadcopter has just about all the features one needs in a small miniature drone.

Dimensions & Specifications

Even though the Syma X11C is one of the biggest droSyma X11C Drone Reviewnes in its category it is still considered to be a miniature drone. This might be good for some people as some might not be the biggest fans of drones that are smaller than the palm of your hands.

For this reason, the Syma X11C is more durable and capable of flying in windy weather, making it one of my personal favorites. In case you didn’t Syma is one of the best drone manufacturers company on the market producing some of the best and most popular drones. It’s no wonder that despite its 15.2 x 15.2 cm dimension it is so powerful for its size.

Camera & Quality

Another striking aspect of the Syma X11C is despite its size, it still has a camera. The fact that this drone can record in HD is a great addition to the drone. The video recording and still images are still taken very smoothly and at great resolution. I must say that given the small camera is impressive!

Flight, Controls, & Durability

I think that the majority vote here is that the Syma X11C is one of the most durable Syma X11C Drone Reviewquadcopters of its size. Not only that.. But the drone can crash so many times and work perfectly fine. Even when it comes to the flying, it’s hard to say anything negative about it.

Its maneuverability is excellent and it does great in the wind, which is very rare to see in quadcopters of this size. Night time flying is great too and Syma did a great job when adding the four led lights below each arm.

Other great features include 2 speed modes, one button 360 degree flips, and its ability to fly easily. While the controls might get some getting used to for some, they can also be changed through its two different modes.

Syma X11C Features

  • Great HD camera and LED lights
  • Strong wind resistance
  • Can fly both indoors and outdoors
  • Ability to flip in any direction with 360 degree one-touch button
  • Easy to fly

Syma X11C Overview

Many have touted that the Syma X11C is a must-buy and to be honest I can’t disagree. The drone has every feature one looks for in a miniature drone. Beyond these features, even the performance excels far beyond a lot more of the more expensive drones. From its highly durable nature to its longer than average battery life, if you’re looking for a drone, my recommendation is the Syma X11C. This is a drone I will always have just because it flies great, it’s reliability is way above par, and the simple fact, that surprisingly many, many drones today are not capable in flying in windy weather.. Especially for a drone that costs only $40!

Your review for the Syma X11C is pretty cool. To have such a small drone that can actually handle some wind and take HD resolution quality photos with the camera is impressive to say the least. To top it all off the drone only costs $40.00 dollars from one of the best quadcopters in the market.

I could see this little fella making a great gift for a friend I know.

    • Thank you Travis, I appreciate the compliment and am glad you enjoyed this review. I agree, drones like the Syma X11C are only getting more impressive by the day and the price make these gadgets a no-brainer! I couldn’t think of a better gift myself!

  2. Hi Peter! 7 minutes is plenty of flight time indoors.
You describe that it can be used outdoors.
But when it is so small it will not be extremely difficult to control just by the slightest wind.
Our drone is about three times bigger and I felt it is really difficult to manage with a bit blown
    Steen

    • Yes, you definitely bring up a good point Steen. Wind is always a factor you need to consider. But regardless of size, some quadcopters have better maneuverability than others in the wind, and I think the Syma X11C performs really well in that regard. Obviously though, the stronger the wind, the better it is to avoid flying outside altogether!

  3. Peter,
I love the idea that it is easy to fly in the wind and that it is an affordable price.
I do not have any experience with quads or flying at all, so I am very pleased to know that it is easy to operate straight out of the box. Is it easy to maintain? How about replacing parts if something happens to it?

    • Great questions Juan and let me try and answer the best I can. Yes, the Syma X11C is very easy to start using. All you need to do is un-package the drone, charge up the battery, which you can then insert into the drone. From there you simply need to bind the transmitter with the gyros, which isn’t hard to do at all.

Syma X11C replacements can definitely be purchased as needed. A replacement parts package includes a full set of blade propellors, motors, and mounting screws. The Syma X11C is also easy to maintain.

The only thing I’d like to add to this is flying any drone definitely takes a bit of practice and a feel for getting used to the way it flies. The Syma X11C is actually a great trainer drone for that purpose!

  4. I think you did a great job on the review for this drone. You were very complete in your review with all the specifics a person considering buying one would want to know. I think this drone looks pretty cool and I am sure my son would agree!
    Wishing you continued success!

  5. Hey Pete, I might need one of these drones from you someday!
