Top 14 Best Eachine Drones Of 2017

Today I’ll be releasing one of my favorite drone picks and reviews of 2017. Eachine is a brand you won’t forget and may have come to respect for their huge collection of qoadcopters. From fully-equipped miniature drones to customized racers, Eachine has made its etch into the drone world.

In this post, we’ll be looking at a few (or should I say almost all) of the drones Eachine has to offer along with their respective traits and features. So sit tight as we close the lid to our research into one of today’s most versatile drone manufacturers. Holding many similarities to big named brands like Syma and Holy Stone, Eachine is a brand favored by beginners, experts, and racers alike.

Get ready guys, for a pretty interesting, diverse, and awesome collection by Eachine!

14. Eachine H8 Mini

Best Eachine Drones - H8 Mini The first drone by Eachine on our list might be one that has rung a bell once or twice, as this model has been around for years. Still looking as beautiful as ever, you’ll not only enjoy this drone for its low price, but for its beginner-friendly features like headless mode and one key return.

Specs like flight time that can reach up to 7 minutes makes it more attractive than other miniature/nano models. Its fairly average 30 meter range is complemented by its super lightweight and durable frame, while other features like 4 LED lights for outdoor flight and 3D flips makes it a strong contender for beginners.

Included with the H8 Mini is a 3.7V 150mAh capacity battery, transmitter, and USB. While it might not be Eachine’s best offerings, it’s more than suitable for any beginner looking to get into drones. This is especially true if you don’t need FPV or a camera to begin flying.

  • Flying time – 5 to 7 Minutes
  • Flying Distance – 30 Meters
  • Charging Time – 45 Minutes

13. Eachine E010 Mini UFO

Best Eachine Drones - E010 Mini UFO The simple but durable drone otherwise known as the E010 Mini UFO has turned into a piece of perfection through the years. It’s available in green, red, and can even be upgraded as a great beginner micro FPV racer. The E010 Mini by Eachine is easily one of their most affordable quadcopters and most appropriate for starters.

Key features that has allowed the E010 to gain popularity include indoor & outdoor flight, 3D rolling effects, one key return, and compass mode which makes flight for beginners much easier. LED lights on the E010 mini further light up the night sky allowing you to fly later in the day.

Despite a shorter 5 minute flight time, the drone can be fully charged in just 30 minutes. While the Eachine E010 isn’t a drone made to be flown at longer distances, its 30 meter transmission range will complement the flying of any beginner giving you more control and ease of flight. That’s because longer transmission ranges can make you more susceptible to losing your quadcopter and we don’t want that!

  • Flying time – 5 Minutes
  • Flying Distance – 30 Meters
  • Charging Time – 30 to 50 Minutes

12. Eachine E011 Mini

Best Eachine Drones - E011 MiniNext up in Eachine’s line of miniature quadcopters is their E011 model, which puts a twist on the E010 Mini with the addition of a building figure on the drone. If you’ve ever wanted to fly around a miniature person on your drone I can’t blame you.

You may even find the building block adds a whole new attraction to the drone itself, which is available in black & red and white & blue. The drone further comes with two flight modes – one for flying without the block and the other with the block.

The E011 further stands out for its intuitive design of the propellers, stability, and strong wind resistance. More specifically, its use of a coreless motor provides the drone with plenty of power and speed (up to 60,000 RPM or Revolutions Per Minute).

Features on the E011 include colorful LED lights, headless mode for beginners, and a one key return function. Included with the quadcopter is a transmitter, USB cable, propellers, and a building block. The specs on the E011 Mini are similar to that of the E010, but not quite identical.

Its charge time is roughly similar with a 40 minute charge on average. Flight time also only lasts about 5 minutes, while the flight distance on the E011 is longer reaching up to 50 meters in range. Those who enjoy the building block or the ability to fly around something standing or sitting on your drone will enjoy the E011 as it can add new perspective when it comes to flying. Give it a try, it’s fun!

  • Flying time – 5 Minutes
  • Flying Distance – 50 Meters
  • Charging Time40 Minutes

11. Eachine E10C Mini

Best Eachine Drones - E10C MiniNext up in Eachine’s line of best drones is the E10C Mini, which I believe you’ll come to find holds many similarities to many of Cheerson’s starter models.

The E10C Mini, available in both blue and silver is very beginner-friendly and is the first Cheerson model that comes with a 2.0 megapixel camera. Those wanting to get their hands on something affordable will find the Eachine E10C Mini a joy to fly.

Capable of taking both images and video, the E10C Mini also includes three flight speed modes so that more advanced fliers will enjoy it as well. LED night lights allow the drone to be flown during the day and at nighttime, while its miniature stature lets the drone be flown both indoors and outdoors.

360-degrees rolls and flips can also be performed and a headless mode can also be turned on and off as necessary. Included with the E10C Mini by Eachine is the drone itself, a 2.4GHz transmitter, USB charging cable, spare propellers, and a 3.7V 120mAh battery that is built into the quadcopter. Due its lower capacity battery, the E10C Mini still has a shorter flying time at around 5 to 6 minutes per session; a slight improvement over the E010 Mini UFO and E011 Mini.

Battery charge time is excellent at only 35 minutes, while the range is the lowest out of all Eachine models at only 20 meters in distance between the drone and transmission. What stands out most about the E10C Mini is that its the first beginner-friendly model that actually has a camera and the fact this drone can practically be flown anywhere. If that’s what you’re looking for, then the E10C Mini is a great choice. We especially loved it in the blue, which looks spectacular when paired with those bright LED’s!

  • Flying time – 5 to 6 Minutes
  • Flying Distance – 20 Meters
  • Charging Time – 35 Minutes

10. Eachine E70 Mini

Best Eachine Drones - E70 MiniHolding much resemblance in design to the HS170 Predator, the Eachine E70 is one of 2017’s most recent Eachine mini quadcopters, and perhaps most recommended as well. The E70 Mini further helps set the standards for how miniature drones should be made.

Despite its affordable price, the E70 Mini comes with rare features like a 720 powerful coreless motor allowing for better stability and maneuvering. Landing skid protection covers gives the drone a shock absorbing resistance that makes it perfect for crashes or accidental falls allowing the drone to hold onto many of its pieces in place. Other features available in the E70 Mini worth mention are one key return mode, headless mode, and 360-degree flips and tricks.

The drone comes with a transmitter, USB cable, and a 3.7V 250mAh battery for longer flight time. Yes, the Eachine E70 Mini outdoes all their previous models when it comes to specifications like its 8 minute flying time and 50 to 80 meter transmission range. As expected charge time is longer at 60 minutes on average, but definitely worth the wait.

Also keep in mind that the E70 Mini does not come with a camera or functions for FPV. If you are however, looking for one of the latest and greatest beginner-friendly offerings by Eachine, you owe it to yourself to take the E70 Mini for a spin!

  • Flying time – 8 Minutes
  • Flying Distance – 50 to 80 Meters
  • Charging Time – 60 Minutes

9. Eachine E010C Micro FPV

Best Eachine Drones - E010C Micro FPV RacerLooking to take your drone hobby to the next level? Why not try drone racing with your new Eachine E010C Micro. This is the perfect drone to get your hands on if you’re just getting started into the world of drone racing and one you’ll have some amazing fun with. With the E010C Micro you can expect practically more of the same flying traits of past models, but with more speed and power than ever before.

New and improved wind blades give the E010C Micro a whole new sense of stability when flying, combined with both high and low speed settings. We’ll find recognizable features as well like a one key return function, headless mode for beginners, and 360-degree tumbling. The one we haven’t seen yet is its inclusion of an FPV mode, which we’ll definitely be needing if we want to win that next race.

Its downsides are with the specs itself, which can be expected. The main difference here is with its 3.5-minute flight time, which shaves off a minute or two when compared to the E010C Mini. Charge time is approximately the same, but can sometimes take up to 50 minutes, while its transmission extends up to 30 meters.

The reason for its lower than average flying time isn’t because of the battery alone, but because of the power consumption used to make this drone fly faster and more powerful than the previous models we’ve seen. Included with the Eachine E010C Micro is the drone, a transmitter, an M7 800TVL camera, 4 propellers, USB cable, and a 3.7V 150mAh capacity battery. Take your drone skills to a new level by getting your hands on the E010C Micro – available in green or red, it’s a great choice for beginners, experts, and racing enthusiasts alike!

  • Flying time – 3.5 Minutes
  • Flying Distance – 30 Meters
  • Charging Time – 40 to 50 Minutes

8. Eachine E10WD Mini

Best Eachine Drones - E10WD MiniNow if you’re looking for a miniature drone that is not a racer, but does include a camera and FPV, then you may want to check out one of their 2016 releases, also known as the E10WD Mini. This quadcopter builds on previous models pretty extensively by giving fliers the opportunity to fly with WiFi FPV and tone up on their skills both inside and outside.

Its live video feed is delivered right to your android or iPhone device, allowing you to store videos and pictures for later as well. Similar features we’ve seen included with the E10WD are headless mode, one key return, and 360-degree flips. One we haven’t seen, included with the E10WD Mini is the altitude hold mode allowing the drone to hover completely on its own.

Specifications include a 4 to 6 minute flying time, 40 to 50 minute charge time, and a range of approx. 20 to 40 meters while WiFi transmission can be used up to 30 meters. Package includes a 150mAh battery, transmitter, USB cable, and spare blades. Its use of colored propellers further makes spotting your drone easier during the daytime, despite use of a white color exterior on the body.

  • Flying time – 4 to 6 Minutes
  • Flying Distance – 20 to 40 Meters
  • Charging Time – 40 to 50 Minutes

7. Eachine E33W

Best Eachine Drones - E33WAnother 2017 drone release by Eachine is the E33W. Including a detachable 0.3MP 720p camera, the drone can also be used in conjunction with FPV with use of a smartphone.

Features on the E33W are exactly on point with what we’ve seen so far – these include headless mode, altitude hold, one key return, and LED lights.

Specifications on the E33W is what makes this model standout. Use of a higher powered 3.7V 450mAh battery gives this drone up to 10 minutes in total flying time and an extensive transmission distance of up to 100 meters.

Included with the transmitter is a phone holder to connect your phone and transmitter with the smartphone app. Unbeknown to many, the E33W isn’t a miniature model like most of Eachine’s line-up. Rather this is a somewhat average-sized drone (still on the smaller side) that reaches up to 10″ W x 10″ L in dimensions. If you’re looking for an average sized Eachine drone with above average specifications, this is clearly the 2017 Eachine drone for you!

  • Flying time – 8 to 10 Minutes
  • Flying Distance – 80 to 100 Meters
  • Charging Time – 60 to 70 Minutes

6. Eachine E40G

ExBest Eachine Drones - E40Gcelling in appearance and design, the E40G exterior is not to be dismissed. Its black, glossy, sleek looking finish is enhanced by the use of 4 LED lights. But what stands out most about the E40G isn’t in its appearance, but in its 720P wide angle HD camera and 5.8GHz transmission.

However, there are shortcomings with E40G that we should bring to your attention. Falling propellers and its fairly short transmission range for its price are worth considering. Also, you might have not expected it, but the E40G is actually a miniature drone.

Other traits however, like use of an LCD monitor screen for use with FPV, three speed modes, one key return, and headless mode, make the drone desirable in so many other ways and one worth when considering. When push comes to shove, the pros outweigh the cons and its 8 minute flight time is certainly an improvement from its miniature models. There are instances however, where charge time can extend up to an hour or more.

The Eachine E40G further comes with all the accessories needed to begin flying – this includes the E40G drone, a transmitter with monitor, a 3.7V 520mAh capacity battery, battery and monitor chargers, spare propellers, and four protective covers to help keep those propellers in place. Despite a few flaws, the E40G will still keep you wanting for more!

  • Flying time – 8 Minutes
  • Flying Distance – 60 to 70 Meters
  • Charging Time – 65 Minutes

5. Eachine E50 & E50S WiFi FPV

Best Eachine Drones - E50SWhy not give your Facebook page some love with your own drone-taking selfie? No problem, as next up in Eachine’s spectacular line of drones are the E50 and E50S, which you are going to love and is evident of another new change occurring in the industry. That change is with fold-ability.

This year we’ve seen an increase in drones where you can now fold the arms. This was perhaps first evident with the infamous DJI Mavic Pro, which other brands have seemed to rightly follow. So what exactly does the E50 and E50S have to offer?

For starters, the entire premise behind these two models was to offer a miniature selfie drone that you could simply take out of your pocket and begin taking pictures of yourself. This is complemented with its wide view camera angles. That’s not everything worth mentioning – features like its brushed cordless motor gives this drone more stability and power when flying. Inclusion of an altitude hold mode was also necessary to truly make this a “selfie” camera taking drone. And of course, fold-ability plays a big role here when it comes to easy transportation of the mini E50 and E50s drones.

Not only do we have a 720p camera, but we also have WiFi real-time FPV, headless mode, one key return, and 3D aerials. Between the E50 and E50S, we couldn’t find any real differences, besides a minor difference in the exterior design. Both still use a 720p camera with all other functions being the same (If you have found a difference, leave a comment down below, but so far we believe that the E50S uses a 2MP camera, while the E50 uses 0.3MP). Besides its 120 minutes in total charge time, its average 8 to 15 minutes in flight time is impressive to say the least.

While one might jump to the fact that the drone looks almost old-fashioned in a way, its technological features may actually make this drone ahead of its time and honestly, is there a better way to use your drone than for selfies? (smile).

  • Flying time – 8 to 15 Minutes
  • Flying Distance – 40 Meters
  • Charging Time – 45 Minutes

4. Eachine E52 WiFi FPV

Best Eachine Drones - E52Next up in Eachine’s newest addition of selfie drones is the E52, which makes use of a design and color I prefer over the E50 and E50S models. The E52 includes all the features we saw in the E50 & E50S – headless mode, altitude hold mode, WiFi FPV, one key return, 3D flips, LED lights, and fold-able arms.

Charge time takes half the time it takes to charge up the E50 model at roughly 60 minutes per charge, while its 8 to 10 minute flight time certainly takes a hit. Unlike the E50, the E52 has a much longer 80 to 100 meter transmission range, whereas the range on the E50 is about half that.

As you can see, there are certainly differences when it comes to the specifications between the E50 & E52. With the E50 models, you’ll experience longer flying times, but also double the charge time and a much shorter transmission range. With the E52, you’ll be experience a somewhat shorter flying time, but a much shorter charge time and nearly double the transmission range.

In the end, your choice will ultimately come down to preference and if design plays a role here, that should be something for you to factor in as well. Either way, if you’re looking for a great selfie drone, you shouldn’t be disappointed by either!

  • Flying time – 8 to 10 Minutes
  • Flying Distance – 80 to 100 Meters
  • Charging Time – 60 Minutes

3. Eachine E55 WiFi FPV

Best Eachine Drones - E55 WiFi FPVOne of my personal favorite mini drones by Eachine just so happens to be one of the smoothest miniature fliers by Eachine. Everything from its fold-able wings, easy transportation, and intuitive features like track control mode makes this drone a gem worth exploring.

Track control mode isn’t usually apparent in lower end drone models, but a feature worth experience. As you may have guessed, this mode allows you to draw the exact flight track before time using your mobile device for that amazing pre-planned flight you’ve been planning all along.

Other features include altitude hold mode, one key take offs and landings, headless mode, and 360-degree flips. Specifications on the E55 are great given its miniature stature and can survive up to 8 minutes in the air on a single charge with a total 40 minute charge time and 50 meter transmission range.

The Eachine E55 comes with a 300mAh capacity battery, USB charger, 4 propellers, transmitter, and phone holder. Its durable, stable, and includes everything you could come to love in a miniature drone, greatly building upon previous models. Want a drone that can automatically fly in circles in your kitchen? Only kidding. But honestly, the E55 by Eachine actually has that capability. Don’t you just love 2017!

  • Flying time – 8 Minutes
  • Flying Distance – 50 Meters
  • Charging Time – 40 Minutes

2. Eachine Racer 250 FPV

Best Eachine Quadcopters - Racer 250 FPVCircling back to one of Eachine’s greatest specialties, we’ll be taking a peek at some of Eachine’s most popular racing drones. The Racer 250 FPV is easily one of the most popular choices when it comes to Eachine.

Weighing in at just 400g the Racer 250 FPV’s ultra-fast speeds is powered by its 2300KV brushless motor and 5.8G 32CH transmitter. Its lengthy 10 to 14 minute flight time can be attributed to its ultra-high powered 11.1V 1500mAh battery. Real time transmission is further supported by its additional 1000TVL camera, which surprisingly also allows for HD night-time flight.

Several pieces of content are featured with the package – including four 2300KV motors, 8 black and white propellers, mushroom antenna, balance charge, 2 LED headlights in white, 1 LED taillight, 5.8G transmitter, and 1000TVL camera. Also, make sure to buy an additional charger with the Racer 250 as many have reported problems when using the charger in the package. All in all, we would say that the Eachine Racer 250 FPV is fully-equipped to race – get ready, set, go – sorry guys, I’m just too fast!

  • Flying time – 10 to 14 Minutes
  • Flying Distance – 250+ Meters
  • Charging Time – Not specified.

1. Eachine Wizard X220 FPV Racer

Best Eachine Quadcopters - X220 WizardLast but not least is one of Eachines most technologically advanced racing drones of all-time, also known as the Wizard X220 FPV Racer. Perhaps its the drones astounding 500 meters in transmission range that has made it such a hit, or its incredible power and speed. Regardless, the Eachine Wizard X220 is only suitable for some of the most experienced flyers out there.

The Wizard X220 isn’t exactly the kind of drone you take on a nice sunny day to take images of the latest landscape or selfies for that matter. This is a drone made for pure speed as is apparent by its 2300 KV brushless motors, 5.8Ghz 48CH transmitter, King Kong propeller set, 700TVL camera, antenna, and 11.1V 1500mAh capacity battery.

The package also comes with the FlySky I6 2.4G remote control and receiver. Those looking for a racing drone built for pure speed, crystal clear FPV, and extremely long transmission ranges, will have no qualms when it comes to the Eachine Wizard X220 FPV. Best of all, the X220 is RTF, or ready to fly out the box.. Now we’re racing!
