If you’re looking for the best drone made by one of today’s leading drone manufacturers Hubsan, this post is for you. Hubsan has gained a reputation for creating some of the most stable, easy to fly, beginner-friendly drones of any manufacturer. Constantly making new renovations and updates to their latest models, Hubsan takes great pride in their work.

What’s particularly great about Hubsan is that the majority of their designs and sizes make these drones capable of both indoor and outdoor flight. What you’ll really like about Hubsan is their thoroughness to appeal to all hobbyists. From lower end Hubsan models to some of the most exclusive high-end modeled quads, there is a Hubsan drone for everyone out there, beginner to advanced!

7. Hubsan H111 Q4 Nano

Hubsan H111 Nano Q4The H111 Nano by Hubsan is one of the smallest quadcopters to ever be produced. Manufactured out of plastic and alloy, the H111 Q4 measures only 2 inches in length and 1.5 inches in width and weighs in at less than half a pound. The Hubsan H111 is a gem to fly and made for nothing more than pure enjoyment and a great drone to get your hands on for some practice.

As one of Hubsan’s only miniature quadcopters, they’ve performed a rather exceptional job at creating one of today’s lightest weight air frames, simultaneously capable of nighttime, indoor, and outdoor flight. Its use of a 2.4 GHz connection strengthens the overall transmission between the transmitter and drone for stronger and more precise controls.

It uses a 3.7V rechargable LIPO battery, giving it 5 to 6 minutes of flying time with a low average charge time of 30 minutes. Despite its smaller stature, the Hubsan H111 is still capable of reaching distances that is expected in many of today’s more advanced drones with its average range extending up to 100 meters long. The package includes the Hubsan H111 drone, 1 lithium ion battery, 2.4GHz remote control, USB charging cable, and spare propellers. What more can you ask for, besides the smallest Hubsan drone in your own drone collection?

  • Flying Time: 5 to 6 Minutes
  • Charge Time: 30 Minutes
  • Distance: Up to 100 Meters

6. Hubsan X4 H107L

Hubsan X4 H107LIf what you’re looking for is an amazingly stable, beginner-friendly, camera-less flier, then the Hubsan X4 H107L is the quadcopter for you.

As one of my first drones ever purchased, I can tell you that this is without a doubt a great choice for those who’ve never got their hands on one of today’s many awesome flying quadcopters.

While it’s not as feature-intensive as most of today’s drones, its this drones overall stability, durability, and easy maneuvering that has given this model its surge in popularity.

It’s small, light-weight, and a true joy to fly, reaching up to 100 meters in overall range and about 9 minutes in flying time with its 240mAh (up-gradable) LiPo battery.

  • Flying Time: 9 Minutes
  • Charge Time: 40 Minutes
  • Distance: Up to 100 Meters

5. Hubsan X4 H107C+

Hubsan X4 H107C+In recent years, the H107C was the go-to Hubsan drone. Its latest upgrade to the H107C+ however, has made some very noticeable improvements to the drone and one worth checking out. The H107C has always been known to be an amazingly stable and beginner-friendly flier.

Considered a miniature drone today, the H107C and H107C+ measure on the smaller side – more specifically, measuring in at 4″ in length and width, and 1″ in height. One thing you’ll notice about Hubsan’s most recent H107C upgrades is its slight change in color and design and an upgraded 720P camera from the older 420P resolution.

Two of the H107C’s most noticeable features is its integrated headless mode (great for beginners) and altitude hold mode, which allows the quadcopter to hover in place while in the air. Its 6 axis gyroscope allows for smoother and more stable flight, while its 3.7V 520mAh battery will give you approximately 7 minutes in total flying time.

Similar to the H111 Q4, the X4 H107C+ can reach up to 100 meters in distance, while also having a low 40 minute charge time. Included with the latest H107C version is the Hubsan X4 drone, a transmitter, two 520mAh LiPo batteries (for extra flight time), spare blades, and a USB charging cable.

  • Flying Time: 7 Minutes
  • Charge Time: 40 Minutes
  • Distance: Up to 100 Meters

4. Hubsan X4 H107D+

Hubsan X4 H107D+Similar to the H107C, the H107D also underwent a small renovation over the past year, resulting in the awesome FPV version of the X4 drone by Hubsan. The H107D+ basically takes the H107L and H107C+ and adds the FPV aspect to make one of Hubsans best and most outstanding miniature FPV quadcopters.

One of the H107D+ most fascinating aspects is its 5.8GHz transmitter for smoother video transmission and its integrated 4.3″ LCD screen on the transmitter.

For those looking for an awesome FPV drone flying experience by Hubsan, the H107D+ is for you. It takes all the amazing features we’ve loved in the H107L and H107C+ to make the most ultimate version of the X4 drone yet.

Two additional and critical features, headless mode and altitude hold mode, only adds icing to the cake. On a full charge, you can expect to fly the H107D+ for around 6 to 7 minutes with 40 minutes of charge time and a max range of 100 meters.

  • Flying Time: 6 to 7 Minutes
  • Charge Time: 40 Minutes
  • Distance: Up to 100 Meters

3. Hubsan X4 H502E Desire

Hubsan X4 H502E Drone

The X4 Desire by Hubsan provides a nice middle-ground between its lower and higher-end quadcopters. Its 720P camera and lack of FPV doesn’t quite live up to the 1080P resolution and features seen on the H501S and H109S drones.

As it turns out though, the H502E Desire is a great drone for novice users and those looking for that extra bit of quad-flying experience.

Due to the absence of FPV, the H502E uses a much more simplistic and minimal transmitter that is still fun and easy to use. The drone further has all the goods when it comes to features and flights – that includes headless mode, altitude hold mode, return home function, and other GPS assisted functions.

Its 720P camera is further capable of capturing both images and videos from 100 meters away, while its high performance brushed motors provide the H502E Desire with an above average 10 to 12 minute flight time. One thing you’ve got to love about Hubsan are their continuous improvements!

  • Flying time: 10 to 12 Minutes
  • Charge Time: 30 to 40 Minutes
  • Distance 100 Meters

2. Hubsan H501S X4

Hubsan H501S X4The H501S model by Hubsan is truly one of my favorite X4 quadcopters. It’s got an extremely sleek exterior that really steps up the drone game big time from previous Hubsan models.

If you’re an experience quad flyer, than the H501S is most definitely worth your attention. Perhaps its most standout feature is its ability to handle flight times of up to 20 minutes; a huge improvement upon any other Hubsan model we’ve seen thus far.

Its flying time alone is comparable to more advanced quads like the DJI Phantom, Parrot Bepop, and many more. Its brushless 5.4GHz transmission further allows for a seamless FPV experience with its respectably integrated 1080P camera. At this price range, the H501S X4 is one of the most beautiful quadcopters you’ll ever see, further enhanced by its 4 bright LED lights under each arm.

Some awesome features to be aware of include headless mode, automatic return to pilot mode, altitude hold mode, follow me, and a wonderfully integrated GPS system. Its 4.3″ transmitter display further adds to the FPV function and makes viewing through your drone lenses, easy. Package includes one H501S drone, transmitter, 2700mAh LiPo battery, spare blades & propellers, adapter, and charger.

  • Flying Time: 20 Minutes
  • Charge Time: 150 Minutes
  • Distance: Up to 100 Meters

1. Hubsan H109S X4 Pro

Hubsan H109S X4 DroneWe’re finally here at Hubsans number one drone model of all time – the H109S X4 Pro; a truly exceptional and lovely looking quadcopter with many desirable features. What can you expect with the H109S X4?

First off, is its 1-axis gimbal rotation, allowing you to adjust the camera vertically (up or down). Those who need 3-axis gimbal rotation will want to look at the Hubsan H109S High Edition, costing considerably more than the standard edition of the H109S X4.

If you thought the 20 minute flight time on the H501S was impressive, wait until you experience the incredibly long 30 minute flight duration on the H109S X4 Pro.. Or how about its wonderfully long 1000 meter range in transmission? This is due to its considerably powerful 11.1V 7000mAh capacity battery. An additional (but not included) 8 AA batteries are needed to operate the transmitter.

The drones all-inclusive features further include headless mode, altitude hold mode, return home mode, follow me function, and real-time FPV. If you’re looking for a drone comparable in many respects to the DJI Phantom 3, but not quite the Phantom 3, then this is an awesome and pretty easy flier worth checking out. For those of you wondering, the drone and gimbal are also GoPro compatible. Make sure to check out both the standard and high edition first!

  • Flying Time: 30 Minutes
  • Charge Time: 30 to 60 Minutes
  • Distance: Up to 1000 Meters
